About us

DAVE is a development by the Grid Planning and Grid Operation Division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (IEE, Kassel) , the Integrated Energy Infrastructures Division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Infrastructures and Geothermal Systems (IEG, Cottbus) and the department “Technology and Management Integrated Energy Infrastructures (TMIE)” at the TU Berlin.

Who we are

And these are the people behind DAVE:

Tobias Banze (Fraunhofer IEE) started the construction of the DAVE Tool. Since then he is the leading developer.

Tanja Kneiske (Fraunhofer IEG, TU Berlin) was the initiator of the DAVE tool. She is now the coordinator of the DAVE development.

Maryam Daneshfar (Fraunhofer IEG) contributes in coordination and developement of DAVE.

Mike Vogt (Fraunhofer IEE) came up with the idea of fusing network model data, which worked as the basis of DAVE.
